And A Simple Question?

As promised here is my weekly trivia feature! Before I reveal this weeks question, I would like to announce the winner of Paper Towns by John Green....drumroll please.....

Congratulation to number 11 was none other than Shelly Burns. Shelly please get back to me within three days or else I will have to choose a new winner.

Now I have to admit this week's question is not a trivia question, but another opinionated one.

What book(s) are you giving away for the holidays?

Books are great things to give away as presents, as they aren't to expensive and they last forever.

Here's a quick run through of the rules:

1. All entrants must live in the United States.
2. All entries must be received by 12 PM E.S.T. Saturday night
3. Two extra entries for linking/posting about the contest
Three extra entries for already being a follower
Two extra entries for becoming a follower

This week's prize is a great book that I read not to long ago, The Other Side of the Island by Allegra Freedman (hardcover). It's a great book for all ages and a great story.

Enjoy the week and check back tomorrow for a new review!

I am getting my younger sister The Devouring for Christmas and for my older sister 13 Reasons Why. Those are the only books I'm giving as presents because everyone else I know doesn't read books...so sad.

I've become a follower and I've posted about the contest on my sidebar.

Since it is so hard to know what someone will want for a book for Christmas, I will be buying gift cards to bookstores!

I'm giving the latest Nelson DeMille book to my husband. My mother is getting Knit Two and the other Knitting Club mystery. Since I don't know what books my daughter has or hasn't read, I know we will be making a trip to the bookstore as soon as she gets home from college on Saturday. She'll be wanting some books to read over her break, I'm sure.

As most of my friends do not like to read, the only book I'm giving away is Just Listen, by Sarah Dessen, to my best friend Monica. I absolutely loove all of Sarah Dessen's books, and I know Monica will like reading this one... I think she'll relate a lot to Annabel... At least, I hope so! :)
By the way, great contest,
thanks a lot!

I'm not sure of which books I will give yet, but I know I'm getting at least one fantasy book for my best friend and some chick lit for someone else. Or Twilight.

I am already a follower of your blog, and I posted about the contest on my blog:

I am currently cursing BarnesandNoble.com, Amazon.com, Library Book Sale, Garage Sales, Auctions, and/or garbage cans looking for books. In the joy of the Christmas Season I am trying to save my meager pennies by giving some of my ARCs and other books to my sibs as presents. Merry Christmas with a slightly used book! :)
